On Wednesday evenings, DFBC Bible study has begun using the book Believe, by Randy Frazee.
Believe is an innovative Bible-reading experience that will guide you and your family on how to “live” the Bible. Take a journey through 10 key beliefs, practices and virtues of Christian faith, which will guide you how to think, act and be more like Jesus.
This study will last approximately 40 weeks, but you can join it at anytime.
The Believe website can be found at
The choir has begun practicing Easter music entitled "Behold The Lamb."
All singers, any singers will be very much welcomed. Join us on Wednesday evenings at 7:30 for rehearsals.
The 2nd Sunday of February happens to fall on Valentine's Day so we will make the most of it.
Celebrate the day by wearing RED. There will be a catered meal and it will be served by the men of the church. The cost of the meal will be $6.
As always there will be games and fellowship for the entire church.
Tuesday Evenings
A Weight Loss & Healthy Eating Class will be led by Lynn Smith in Memorial Hall at DFBC. The 6 pm class will last for about an hour sharing healthy tips and recipes.
These classes will be held each Tuesday of the month. Let Lynn know if you plan on attending so that enough materials will be on hand.
On Sunday, February 28th, the church will be meeting for lunch (you are responsible for you own meal) at 1 pm at the Chop House on Richmond Road. All are invited but especially those who lead any type of committee, group, or in a leadership position at DFBC, you are urged to attend.
We have a private room reserved. Please bring your calendar of dates and you plans for your group for the year.
Please sign up on the pastor's office door so that we might give the Chop House an accurate count of how many will be attending/eating.
