   The entire church is invited for pot luck after the morning service.

   On May 4, the church bus will leave the parking lot at 10:30 am, to go to Frankfort. This is a stop on the "DECISION AMERICA TOUR 2016" by Franklin Graham.
   Dr. Graham has declared, "I'm going to every state in our country to challenge Christians to live out their faith at home, in public and at the ballot box."
   Come with us to hear this challenge!

   Saturday, May 21,  at 11 am, Connie Pittman will be the guest speaker at a David's Fork tea. Invite your friends to this wonderful event.
   In a departure from our normal Fridays trips, on Thursday, May 26, the church bus will leave the parking lot at 8:45 am heading to Frankfort.
   There we will take a tour of our Governor's Mansion, which is free. After the tour, we will go to the popular Cliffside Diner. Sign up soon. 
   Until further notice, the Adult Choir will meet only on the first Wednesday of each month.
   Next practice will be on May 4th. 

   On Wednesday evenings, DFBC Bible study has begun using the book Believe, by Randy Frazee.
   Believe is an innovative Bible-reading experience that will guide you and your family on how to “live” the Bible. Take a journey through 10 key beliefs, practices and virtues of Christian faith, which will guide you how to think, act and be more like Jesus.
   This study will last approximately 40 weeks, but you can join it at anytime.

Tuesday Evenings
   A Weight Loss & Healthy Eating Class will be led by Lynn Smith in Memorial Hall at DFBC. The 6 pm class will last for about an hour sharing healthy tips and recipes. 
   These classes will be held each Tuesday of the month. Let Lynn know if you plan on attending so that enough materials will be on hand.
Children's Choir
   Rehearsals of the DFBC children's choir will take place each Wednesday night at 6:30 pm in the education building. Children of all ages are encouraged to attend.
